Using an LDPE polymerization model including long-chain branching and β-scission, the poster compares two complementary hybrid Monte Carlo strategies and their different approaches to representing polymer chains.

Last year, we announced that Predici 64 was in development. Since spring 2026, the new version has been in productive use, undergoing extensive testing under demanding real-world conditions.

The result: Predici 64 is fast, stable, and ready for large-scale simulation work.

Its redesigned 64-bit architecture delivers simulation speeds of up to four times those of the previous 32-bit version. With access to memory beyond the former 4 GB limit, Predici 64 can handle larger models, broader parameter variations, and extended training runs with ease.

Key advances include:

  • Up to four times faster simulations, for both deterministic and Monte Carlo calculations
  • Parallel execution of multiple recipes, making efficient use of modern multi-core processors
  • Enhanced hybrid Monte Carlo algorithms, with optimized chain and topology handling
  • Extended scripting capabilities
  • Numerous additional functional enhancements throughout the software

Together, these improvements open up new possibilities for model development and simulation — from more complex models and broader recipe exploration to larger, more demanding simulation studies.

Development continues: parallel replica mode for hybrid Monte Carlo simulations is scheduled for release in autumn 2026.
