Biotechnology has many different faces. CiT’s contributions are related to modelling and simulation in the wide field of bio kinetics. During a long-term co-operation with Prof. Dr. Harald Horn , TU Munich, CiT has already developed RioNet as a water quality management tool for river basins.

The "Sonderforschungsbereich" SFB 578 From Gene to Product is relying on CiT's expertise for the modelling of bio pellets. Such disperse processes are simulated with PARSIVAL .

Within the kinetic package PRESTO-KINETICS there are special modules for bio kinetics. 

If bio technology turns into medicine, our new project tool for pharmocokinetics modelling MEDICI-PK the  package of choice. We see nothing comparable here.
