CiT - Scientific Computing in Technology

... was founded in 1992 starting with the development of the most rigorous numerical method for the simulation of molecular weight distributions. The first PREDICI© was delivered in 1993, developed in an 8-sqm-office in Oldenburg. Since then CiT has grown permanently and now has over 100 clients from world-wide chemical companies and universities. Today CiT is settled in Rastede in Northern Germany.

Dr. Michael Wulkow

... studied mathematics and physics in Münster, Germany, with emphasis on numerical analysis, optimization and optimal control of technological processes. From 1987 to 1992 he was a member of the Zuse Institute Berlin and developed numerical methods and algorithms for the simulation of polyreaction kinetics (PhD thesis in 1990).

He is involved in projects on the numerical treatment of processes in technical chemistry, biological chemistry and physics. He has given numerous international lectures at industrial companies, universities and workshops and has written publications (publication list) in different fields. Michael Wulkow founded CiT in 1992.

Dr. Regina Telgmann

... studied mathematics and physics in Münster, Germany, with emphasis on numerical analysis, optimization and optimal control of technological processes.

From 1987 to 1992 she worked as software engineer in the field of process engineering systems for public utilities like electricity, water and gas. As a member of CiT, she is specialized in the field of parameter estimation. She joined Michael Wulkow in the management of CiT and is responsible for project management and software design. In 2007 she finished her PhD thesis on model discrimination and modeling in pharmacokinetics.
